The extensometer 252 enables direct measurement of bolt elongation for applications requiring increased accuracy. It complements the standard calculation based on thread pitch and supports precise determination of the yield point in bolt testing.

Tempering Sleeves

The temperature sleeve 253 enables targeted testing of bolts under realistic temperature conditions at the bolt head and thread. This allows friction coefficients during loosening to be compared with tightening values and temperature effects on coatings and material pairings to be reliably evaluated.
