Material Testing – The Foundation for Development and Quality Assurance
Our customers develop materials and products from high-quality and innovative raw materials. These include metals and alloys such as aluminum and steel, as well as non-metallic, inorganic substances used in the production of glass, ceramics, and binders such as cement, lime, and gypsum. Pulp, paper, and cardboard also play an essential role—particularly in the packaging industry. Equally important are plastics, polymers, and elastomers, including natural and synthetic rubber. Composite and hybrid materials, such as glass fiber- or carbon fiber-reinforced compounds, are increasingly used to achieve optimal performance characteristics for demanding technical applications.
Material and component testing provides the foundation for design, product development, and process control in manufacturing. TesT testing machines measure mechanical parameters such as tensile, compressive, bending, and shear strength, as well as elasticity, hardness, and fracture behavior, with the highest precision.
As automation advances, TesT also offers fully automated testing systems for serial testing of materials and components. The level of automation and integration of subsystems and handling units are tailored to each customer’s requirements—ensuring efficient, reproducible, and standards-compliant test results.
