With advanced measuring and testing technology, we enable the research and development of mechanical properties of a wide range of materials – from pure metals such as aluminum to alloys like steel. Our material testing machines play a key role in alloy and material development. They determine critical parameters such as tensile strength, yield point, elongation at break, and hardness – essential for evaluating the suitability of new materials for specific applications. For example, the properties of steel can be purposefully optimized through systematic testing of different alloy compositions – for instance, by varying the carbon content or adding chromium, nickel, or molybdenum.
