This is a representation of a newly-developed durometer, which is also known as “Indenter“ or “Hardness Probe“. This device has also been applied for a patent. The Indenter were designed for measurements of MARTENS – Unive HM in accordance with EN ISO 14577.
Standardised measurements according to Rockwell and Vickers (with penetration depth measurements) are possible. In place of a chuck tool, the Indenter is built into a TesT universal testing machine with fine force regulation.
By means of the software TesTWinner® and the force measurements in the Indenter standardised test sequences will be processed and analysed. In particular, the extensive analysis is very interesting.
TesTWinner® Indenter are also available as portable measuring instruments. They are easy to handle, robust and very precise. They have interfaces for connections to computer systems and are suitable for laboratory applications and in production processes.
Different software applications are also available.
